Duncan Keith

Duncan Keith is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman and an alternate captain for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League . Keith is known as a twoway defenceman, capable in both shutdown and offensive roles. He is a threetime Stanley Cup champion with the Blackhawks in 2010, 2013 and 2015.

Keith was born to Dave and Jean Keith. He is a middle child, with older brother Cameron and younger sister Rebecca . His family moved to Fort Frances, Ontario, in 1985 after his father was transferred from Winnipeg for an assistant manager position at a Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce branch. Keiths mother worked in the health field at Rainycrest Home for the Aged in Fort Frances.
